There Is More Than What Meets The Eye

It’s been a while since I have posted. I don’t have time to write much, but I do want to tell what I have been learning…well one of the things I’ve been learning. What I have realized is the truth behind the saying, “You never know what people are going through.” In the present day, society expects everyone to cover up their flaws and their issues, however, everyone is dealing with something. The girl on the corner in skimpy clothes is dealing with self-esteem issues and is probably suicidal. The rich mean looking girl is dealing with family matters and a broken heart. The cocky boy walking in the hall has been the man of the house and the provider since he was ten years old. You just never know what people are dealing with. With this knowledge, first of all, you can know that you are not alone. People are suffering, and you are not the only one struggling. There are people out there who understand what you are going through. Also, with this knowledge, try to give a person a kind word and also watch what you say. The kind word can go a long way. I know I have been at my lowest before and a single sweet word completely changed my day around.. Also step out of your comfort zone and be kind to someone. You never know, you could change their life.
